Tom Worrell, Founder and Chairman

Tom Worrell believes that the world needs a paradigm shift in how it handles its water resources. In 2006 he created Worrell Water Technologies to serve as the corporate home for his decades-long efforts to develop water treatment systems that will make that shift possible.

Tom has a BA in Anthropology and Sociology from the University of Virginia, a JD from the University of Tennessee, and an MBA from the University of Virginia. At the age of 29, he was named President of Worrell Newspapers, and he led that company's growth to over 100 publications in 28 states.

Tom's interests and holdings extend beyond publishing to television, land development, boat design, and law. His philanthropic work has resulted in the creation of the Milagro Center, offering art and cultural programs to minority children in South Florida, and the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Tom says: "My philosophy is to live, and inspire others to live, consciously and responsibly. Clean and safe water is the foundation of healthy and productive lives, and our technologies will further its availability throughout the world."
