The HydroSecure is a drinking water treatment system designed to provide extraordinary protection for facility and residential water supplies. This technology was developed in partnership with the US Government to protect select executive populations and mission critical government facilities.

Now HydroSecure is available commercially to provide protection of businesses, employees, or families against chemical, biological and radiological contamination whether intentional, accidental or naturally occurring. U.S. Embassies and other critical facilities face ongoing problems with water quality and also must operate in locations subject to operational disruptions including inadequate local utility and support systems, natural disasters, local civil unrest, and intentional attacks. Until the recent past, these conditions were mostly overseas. Now, domestic and international businesses and homeowners face day‑to‑day water issues ranging from bad taste to water‑borne pathogens and diseases that may result in illness, lost time and reduced effectiveness, extra expense, and logistical effort to provide bottled drinking water. With conventional water systems and bottled water, the ability to continue operations or safe habitation is very limited during emergency conditions (natural disasters, epidemic disease, civil disturbance, etc.), even though emergencies of this type are the most important times for critical facilities to stay operational and residential users to be protected.

Water supplies are becoming more and more at risk as municipal utilities and private well users are faced with declining supplies and marginal water sources (see some statistics). Tap water often contains constant background levels of contaminants, such as mineral pollutants, disinfection by‑products, bacteria, chemicals and metals leaching out of pipes. In addition, water can be contaminated by a wide variety of sudden events: not only intentional attacks, but also unintentional events such as hurricanes and floods, disease outbreaks, or accidental municipal water system contamination (chemical or biological).
